ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR ISLANDS

INTRODUCTION



The Andaman and Nicobar islands are a union of territory of India in the bay of Bengal. It's about 572 islands in which 32 islands are inhabited. Most of there's islands are known for their amazing sea shore, white sand beaches, mesmerizing mangroves and tropical rainforests. Andaman islanders live on some islands which are not permitted to see visitors.  


The smaller Nicobars are the junction of 22 islands out of which 10 islands are inhabited. In these two regions every year most people come here to visit the historical places and the wonderful nature there.


These islands are also the collection of freedom fighting stars historically landmark like cellular jail, Ross Island, viper island, Mount Harriet etc. 


Andaman islands have been notified of 220 endemic bird regions all over the world. Probably 270 species and subspecies have been  enlightened existing in this island. In Andaman 96 animal and bird harbours have been established. 



LOCATION


This territory is about 93 mi north away from Aceh of Indonesia. It is divided from Thailand and Myanmar by the Andaman sea. The total density of these islands is 46/km2  which is 120/sq mi


The total islands have two parts one is Andaman and the other is Nicobar. It's both distinct by the Ten Degree Channel which is 150 kilometres wide with the Andaman to the last is this latitude, and Nicobar to the south.


The capital of this is Port Blair. The whole area is approximately 8249 kilometers square which is 3185 sq mi. This territory is parted into three Nicobar districts, south Andaman district and North and middle Andaman district. The Andaman sea lies to the east and the bay of Bengal to the west.

  • SWARAJ DWEEP




The main name of this island is Havelock island. Prime minister Narendra Modi has been renamed as Swaraj Dweep. 


Seashore


SwarajDweep is usually known for its white sand beaches, lush green forest, coral reef and beautiful sunset. It's one of the popular islands  in the south Andaman. Total area of it is 113 square kilometers. It's beautiful sandy beaches and rainforests always attract visitors here.


Civilization


People come here to spend family holidays. They drink and get food on the coasts of the sea. 


The special part of this beach is bamboo beach; it's more tempting for visitors. Nowadays this land tourism is increasing because of its extraordinary looks. People also look at the Fisheries museum here. 


This island has three major beaches like Radhanagar Beach , Elephant Beach and Kalapathar Beach. In all three Radhanagar breaches are elegant.



  • PORT BLAIR




Port Blair on the South Andaman Islands is the capital of the Nicobar Islands, an Indian territory in the Andaman and the Bay of Bengal.  Its seashore Cellular Jail, completed in 1906, alludes to its past as a British penal colony and is now a memorial to Indian independence activists.  Inland, the Maritime Maritime Museum displays local marine life. The Anthropological Museum focuses on the indigenous tribes of the islands.



City


Andaman's only commercial airport (Veer Savarkar International Airport) is in Port Blair, thus making it your only entry and exit point to the islands.  


Port Blair is connected to all the islands by the Phoenix Bay Jetty and the Hadow Wharf, the most reliable ports.  Port Blair is connected by road to North Andaman (Diglipur, Baratang, Rangat and Mayabunder). The Internet is easily available in Port Blair, although it is slow.  Port Blair is your destination to learn about the culture and heritage of the islands. With only one beach in the city, there is not much seashore to enjoy. So, if you are specifically looking for beaches, catch an early flight and then take the afternoon ferry to Havelock





  • NICOBAR ISLAND



Nicobar island is an anti-tourist zone. This place  is not for visiting for some special reason.





  • NEIL ISLAND



its also one of the most popular islands in Andaman. It's divided into three parts Bharatpur beach, Laxmanpur beach and Howrah bridge. Specially Bharatpur is famous for coral reefs, a man out is famous for tremendous views of sunset. Howrah bridge is also known for its extraordinary rock and stone steps. Its total area is 13.7 kilometers square. 3040 people are inhabited there.

 There another beach is so beautiful that is Sitapur beach. This beach is mostly known as sunrise beach. There are two curved bays which are amazing. At low tide someone can cross the first bay to reach the second bay. Some yoga visitors come here and people come here to feel the morning breeze. 



Tourists enjoyed their fishing,swimming, diving,cycling, snorkeling etc which attracted tourists here mostly.



  • CELLULAR JAIL




Cellular jail is located at the Andaman and Nicobar islands. Someone knows it as a Kala Pani. The whole jail is a killer of the freedom struggle of India. The prison is usually adopted for captive freedom fighters in the time of British. Many notable independence heads like Batukeswar Dutt, Vinayak Damodar Savakar are captive here.




If any one tries to escape the heads were given a punishment to the prisoners. It is to close them to a dangerous raven black room. That's why this paismentname is Kala Pani


The construction of the prison started at the time of 1896 and finished in 1906. Now it is under the government of India and recognises it as the national memorial monument which symbolizes the cruel era of British Raj.


It's ranked 4 among the most visible places in Andaman and Nicobar island. For entry tourist need to pay 30 per head and with camera 200 and shout for a day is RS. 1000.


Visitors come here to visit the chronological culture of India and feel the same feeling like a freedom fighter. known for the respected liberty personalities.


  • BARATANG


Baratang is one of the beautiful and amazing islands in the Andaman. It's total area is 242.6 kilometers square.




The favorable thing there is limestone caves. That's are osm here. Tourists have to go through a river which is covered by elegant Mangroves.

Mud volcano is a great inquiry of the visitors here.


The stalactites and stalagmites in the limestone cave exist are quite noticeable in the baratang island. It's created by flow of water over the cave through thousands of years.

The long trees and deep forest there always tells the mystery of the island. But the overall things look mesmerizing.


Jarwa child



Another unknown thing about this island is jarawa. Some becoming extinct jarawa means fall behind persons created their civilisation here.some say they are harmful some Say they are friendly. Behind the query of every visitor the jarawa matter is one among many.



  • DIGLIPUR


This is the town at north Andaman.its exact location is the southern part of Aerial bay.

It's 141 feet high from sea level. The total area is 883 kilometers square. The one and only river in Andaman which is kalpong crossed the city.

It's 185 miles away from port Blair.




The Olive Ridley turtles of diglipur are famous. Turtles come here at the time of nesting  season and people get to see them. December is the perfect season to see them. They rest their eggs here and come back to the  sea. It is such a remarkable experience for visitors.


The sunrise and sunset are other most beautiful things on this isle and the crabs create crab holes in the beach all the time , which kids love to see.


Mangroves


The twin island, Smith island, kalpong river shore are other lovely parts of there.



SAFETY ABOUT ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR TRAVEL



Andaman and Nicobars are two of the best places in India. Every year lots of people come here to see the unbelievable glowing of nature. There the government gives all the necessities and safety to the tourists. The island administration provides all the security through lifeguard, beach police and tourism police. They are always ready to contribute comfort to visitors. Island group of administration is so believable about the connectivity of air and sea lines. If there is any danger located they take action very quickly.

Sometimes the climate of the islands becomes very peeved for strangers because there's weather becomes so humid in the month of November, December to March. Basically, the weather is tropical. In the afternoon the land becomes so hot, that's why people also use sun cream, sunglasses and head hats for skin safety. 

Lastly, many tri-command bases are placed on that island. So no one ever faced any violence there. The protectors are always ready to save the land.



 THE BEST TIME TO VISIT ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR ISLAND



The best time to take the show of nature in Andaman occurs in the month of November to may. That time the islands stretched it's mesmerising beauties. Huge amount of visitors come here at that time of year. Other time last because of monsoon season there are lots of tidal waves and storms that are not appropriate for visitors. Lastly in one word the best season to travel to Andaman and Nicobar is summer.


NO PASSPORT NO VISA


For the reason of visit Andaman And Nicobar island passport and visa are not necessary. Adam and Nicobar are part of India; any Indian citizen can go there without a passport. If the reason is any special reason like educational, research then a permission is needed.


CONCLUSION


In the last it's must-have to say Andaman and Nicobar islands are one of the best spot among all places, for trip lovers. According to the KNOW AREA WITH CRITERIA SITE everyone must visit this place minimum one time in their whole life.
